Stanford University courses approved for Law School credit without a petition are listed in SLSNavigator. Listing of a course does not necessarily mean that it will be offered every year and some of the courses listed may have special enrollment instructions and restrictions. See course description or department contact for detailed course information.
If a student wishes to enroll in a course for Law School credit that is not listed in SLSNavigator, the student may petition to take that course. Petition forms are available in the SLS Registrar's Office and on the SLS Registrar’s Office website.
Students should carefully review the Law School Student Handbook for a complete description of the policies and limitations on taking courses outside the Law School.
There are 1092 courses tracked in all subjects .
