[ Academia ] [ Litigation ] [ Regulatory & Policy ] as a Clinic : This clinic is a great choice for students interested in international human rights who want to do advanced work on the kind of projects offered in the first human rights clinic. The first International Human Rights Clinic is a prerequisite to this Advanced Clinic. General course Description: The International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Advanced Clinic offers the opportunity for students who have already successfully completed an International Human Rights and Development Clinic to pursue one or more specific projects in conjunction with the Clinic, either independently or in collaboration with colleague(s) enrolled in the regular clinic. Any travel will be strictly contingent on the Advanced Clinical student's availability and the needs of the project. Advanced Clinical students are expected to participate in as much of the regular clinical seminar and seminar simulations as possible given pre-existing scheduling constraints. Advanced students may arrange with the instructor to receive between two and seven units. No student may receive more than 27 overall clinical credits, however, during the course of the student's law school career. Course Style: A Clinic provides hands-on practical legal experience under the supervision of a faculty member and complemented by a seminar. Course Frequency: Offered once a year |
