General course Description: This interdisciplinary seminar, drawing from economics, law and political science, features current research applying social scientific methods to the study of international law and institutions. Each weekly session involves the presentation of an academic paper by Stanford faculty or visitors from other universities. In scheduling speakers the instructor endeavors to maintain a balance between the three disciplines. Course Style: A Substantive/ Perspective course looks at law from an external or non-traditional standpoint. |
