This course is a seminar that reviews empirical research. General course Description: This course is designed to give students exposure to a broad array of scholarship touching upon the intersection of law and matters of public policy. Leading scholars from around the country in law and other fields (political science, philosophy, economics, humanities, and sociology) present papers on current public policy issues and debates. Faculty, students, and auditors question and critique authors in an academic workshop format. Course Style: A Substantive/ Perspective course looks at law from an external or non-traditional standpoint. |
