This course studies design for energy efficient buildings. Among the topics are thermal analysis of the building envelope, solar water heating and passive solar design for residential buildings. General course Description: Analysis and design. Thermal analysis of building envelope, heating and cooling requirements, HVAC, and building integrated PV systems. Emphasis is on residential passive solar design and solar water heating. Lab. Course Style: A Substantive course teaches the law, theory, and policy in a particular area of law |
