Students interested in a public interest career should consider taking 1 or more courses that examine the causes of social, economic and political inequality and consider possible policy interventions. General course Description: Service learning. Students participate in a two quarter internship at a local shelter for homeless individuals or families. Readings include historical, social science, and social commentary literature. Service Learning Course (certified by Haas Center). Course Style: A Substantive course teaches the law, theory, and policy in a particular area of law |
