Topics include organizational mission, strategy, marketing, financing and evaluation. General course Description: How to create and grow innovative, non-profit and for-profit ventures which have the primary goal of solving social and environmental problems. Topics include organizational mission, strategy, marketing, financing and evaluation. Opportunities and limits of methods from the for-profit sector to meet social goals. Perspectives from the field of social entrepreneurship. Focus is on integrating theory with practical applications. Enrollment limited to 20. Prerequisite:consent of instructor. Course Style: A Substantive course teaches the law, theory, and policy in a particular area of law |
